Short answer

Skyline Funding reviews are hard to read because at least two unrelated business funding companies use the name. One is Moon Capital Holdings, LLC of Dallas, Texas, which the Better Business Bureau lists as doing business as Skyline Funding and Skyline Advance, with an A plus rating, no accreditation, 0 complaints and a file opened only on 2/27/2026.

The other is Skyline Funding Capital LLC, which trades as Skyline Funding at skylinefundingcapital.com and has no BBB profile we could find. Neither is named as a party in the federal court records we searched, so the first job is to read your agreement and find out which Skyline you actually signed with.

This page summarizes what the public record shows as of October 21, 2026. The rating, accreditation status, addresses and complaint count for the Texas company were read directly from its Better Business Bureau profile.

The description of the second company comes from its own website, its Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and a third party lender review. Court information comes from the CourtListener federal docket index.

Both companies are young and the public record on each is short, so this page says plainly where the record runs out.

Skyline Funding Capital LLC, doing business as Skyline Funding

Legal name:

Location and age:

A Finder review describes it as a New York-based alternative business lender that appears to have launched in 2025, and reported that it had no BBB profile as of June 2026. We found none either.

Company claims:

More than $9 million delivered and 193 businesses funded. Those are the company's figures and we have not verified them.

The two companies share a trade name and nothing else that we could find. Different states, different phone numbers, different websites, different legal names. We found no public record linking them.

An older Skyline Funding, Inc.

A third name appears in older federal records. Skyline Funding, Inc. was named as a defendant alongside Chase Manhattan Mortgage Corporation in Gage-Wilson v. Chase Manhattan Mortgage Corporation, filed in the Northern District of Illinois in October 2005, and as a defendant in First Place Bank v. Skyline Funding, Inc., a contract case filed in the same court on April 2, 2010 and closed on May 22, 2012.

We found nothing connecting that company to either business funder above, and it should not be confused with them.

What Skyline Funding Capital says it sells

The company's home page offers business capital from $5,000 to $3 million across three products: revenue-based funding, a business line of credit of up to $1 million, and access to SBA loans of up to $5 million through what it calls direct lender partnerships. It says many clients receive funds within 24 hours of signing.

The qualification figures differ between pages, and a reader should not rely on either set:

  • The home page and the revenue-based funding page list $180,000 in annual revenue, a personal FICO score of 450 or higher, a business checking account and at least 1 year in business.
  • The FAQ page lists at least 6 months in business, a FICO score of 500 or higher and at least $250,000 in annual revenue.
  • The home page asks for the last 4 months of bank statements, while the FAQ asks for the three most recent.

The FAQ also says fixed-term financing runs from 6 months to 2 years, that revenue-based financing is collected by automatic debit from the business bank account, that some products offer discounts for early payoff, and that most clients qualify for renewal after paying 40 to 50 percent of the balance. The revenue-based funding page carries text describing a revolving line of credit rather than a revenue-based product, so it does not describe the revenue-based product on its own terms.

Two more details are worth knowing before you sign. The Terms of Service describe Skyline as a company that provides information about financing and facilitates access to it, without guaranteeing approval or terms.

The Privacy Policy says it may share your information with lenders, funders and brokers with your consent, and that it may receive information from lead providers. Taken together with the SBA page's reference to partner lenders, our reading is that some deals arranged through this Skyline may be funded by another company. If so, that company's name will be on the agreement.

When we read the About page on October 21, 2026, its team section showed template placeholder text and sample names rather than real staff. That is not evidence of anything about how the company funds or collects. It does mean the site gives a merchant very little to go on about who runs the business.

Reviews and complaints

The BBB profile for Moon Capital Holdings shows no complaints and no customer reviews. For a file opened in February 2026, that mostly reflects how new the file is. Skyline Funding Capital has no BBB profile that we could find. Its website displays five short customer testimonials chosen by the company, which we treat as marketing rather than a record.

When a funder has almost no complaint history, the best record of how it behaves is the contract and, later, the court docket. Business owners in revenue-based financing rarely file BBB complaints, because disputes run through the agreement and, if they escalate, through a lawsuit.

The court record

A search of the CourtListener federal docket index on October 21, 2026 for Moon Capital Holdings, Skyline Funding Capital and Skyline Advance returned no case involving either company; its only hit was an unrelated 2011 claims-transfer filing for a "Skyline Advance Tech Svcs" in a Montana bankruptcy.

A broader search for the bare name "Skyline Funding" returns other filings that mention the name without naming either company as a party, including a separate Skyline Funding NY LLC listed among the subjects of a 2026 document subpoena in a federal bankruptcy lawsuit (Marshack v. World Global Fund LLC, Bankr. C.D. Cal. 8:25-ap-01105).

We found nothing tying those mentions to Moon Capital Holdings or Skyline Funding Capital. We did not search every state court, and many funders file collection cases in state courts, often in New York.

This is a statement about what we found, not proof that no case exists. If you have been served, the caption on the papers tells you which company is suing and where.

If your business is in Texas, the rules changed

Texas House Bill 700 added Chapter 398 to the Texas Finance Code, covering commercial sales-based financing. The law defines that as financing repaid as a percentage of sales or revenue, or by fixed payments with a reconciliation process that adjusts them to a percentage of sales or revenue, which is how most merchant cash advances and revenue-based funding are built. It took effect September 1, 2025. Among its provisions:

  • A provider making a specific offer of less than $1 million to a business in Texas must disclose the total amount of the financing, the amount disbursed, the finance charge, the total repayment amount, the estimated time to repay and the payment amounts.
  • A sales-based financing contract that contains a confession of judgment, or any similar provision, is void and unenforceable.
  • A provider or broker may not set up automatic debits from a business's deposit account unless it holds a perfected, first priority security interest in that account.
  • Providers and brokers must register with the Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner. Businesses already operating when the law took effect have until December 31, 2026 to register.
  • Violations carry a civil penalty of $10,000 each, enforced by the state. The statute does not create a private right of action.

The chapter applies to financing offered to a recipient in Texas whether or not the provider has an office there, so it can matter to a Texas business that signed with either Skyline.

Whether these rules apply to a specific agreement, and what follows if one was not met, depends on the facts and on when the deal was signed. That is a question for counsel, but it is worth knowing the rules exist before you talk to anyone about your balance.

If your business is run from New York, that state's rule at 23 NYCRR Part 600 requires an estimated APR disclosure on sales-based financing offers of $2,500,000 or less, and requires a broker to pass along the funder's disclosure unaltered.

What to establish from your own paperwork

  • The exact company named as the funder: Moon Capital Holdings, LLC, Skyline Funding Capital LLC, or a third party that one of them arranged.
  • The amount funded, the amount actually disbursed after fees, the total payback and the balance still outstanding, from the payment history.
  • How payments are collected, and whether the agreement gives the funder a security interest in your bank account.
  • Whether the agreement contains a confession of judgment, a personal guaranty, or a clause naming the courts of a particular state.
  • Whether there is a reconciliation clause that lets you request lower payments when revenue drops.
  • Whether a UCC financing statement was filed against the business, which you can check with your secretary of state.

Do not stop the debits or move the operating account on your own. Under most agreements of this kind either step is defined as a default, and it is the event most likely to turn a payment problem into a lawsuit.

Frequently asked questions

Is Skyline Funding BBB accredited?

No. Moon Capital Holdings, LLC, which the BBB lists as doing business as Skyline Funding and Skyline Advance, has an A plus rating but is not accredited. Skyline Funding Capital LLC has no BBB profile that we could find.

How many complaints does Skyline Funding have?

The BBB shows 0 complaints and 0 reviews for Moon Capital Holdings, on a file opened 2/27/2026. We found no complaint record for Skyline Funding Capital LLC.

Are there two companies called Skyline Funding?

Yes. Moon Capital Holdings, LLC lists offices in Dallas and Irving, Texas and Sheridan, Wyoming. Skyline Funding Capital LLC operates skylinefundingcapital.com and is described by a third party reviewer as New York-based. We found no link between them.

Has Skyline Funding been sued?

We found no federal case naming Moon Capital Holdings, Skyline Funding Capital or Skyline Advance. Older federal cases from 2005 to 2012 name a different company, Skyline Funding, Inc., including one in which it was sued alongside Chase Manhattan Mortgage Corporation. Newer filings mention other Skyline names, such as a Skyline Funding NY LLC, that we could not link to either funder.

What does Skyline Funding Capital offer?

Its website advertises revenue-based funding, lines of credit up to $1 million and SBA loan access up to $5 million through partner lenders, with qualification requirements that differ between its home page and its FAQ.

What should I do if the payments are unaffordable?

Identify the funder named in the agreement, then pull the balance, the reconciliation clause, the guaranty, any confession of judgment and any UCC filing. If your business is in Texas, note when the deal was signed. Do not block the debits or change banks on your own. Then decide who negotiates for you.

If the payments are the problem

If a Skyline debit is taking more out of the account than the business reliably produces, the thin review record is not the relevant fact. What matters is which company funded you, the balance still outstanding, what your reconciliation clause lets you request, whether you signed a personal guaranty or a confession of judgment, and whether the disclosures your state requires were provided.

Those are the facts a negotiation is built on. Business Debt Adjusters reviews the agreement, the payment history and the bank activity together and tells you plainly whether a settlement is realistic before any funder is contacted. Book a free consultation and bring the agreement with you.
