Silverline Review (2026): Which Silverline Is on Your Paperwork, What the Court Record Shows, and Your Options
There is no single company called Silverline. At least four unrelated businesses use the name in lending searches: Silverline Services, Inc., a merchant cash advance funder that sues in Kings County, New York; Silverline Capital LLC, which markets merchant cash advances of $2,500 to $2.5 million; Silverline Financial of Temple Terrace, Florida, which carries an F rating and an out-of-business alert from the BBB; and Silverline Lending of Novi, Michigan, a mortgage lender that has nothing to do with business advances. Check the legal name on your agreement before you read any review, including this one.
Four companies called Silverline, and which one you are probably looking for
Searches for Silverline loans, Silverline debt and Silverline reviews land on four different businesses. They are not affiliated with each other as far as the public record shows, and they are not all the same kind of company. The name on your contract, your bank statement or your court papers is the only reliable way to tell them apart.
- Silverline Services, Inc. A merchant cash advance funder. It buys future receivables, collects by daily ACH, takes a personal guaranty, and files suit in the Supreme Court of New York, Kings County when payments stop. This is the entity most business owners with an MCA problem are looking for.
- Silverline Capital LLC. Markets itself at silverlinecapitalllc.com as a merchant cash advance provider funding $2,500 to $2.5 million with approval within 24 hours and, in its own words, no personal guarantee and no collateral required, with an asterisk. We could not find a BBB profile or a published court record under this exact name, so we do not know whether it is related to Silverline Services.
- Silverline Financial, Temple Terrace, Florida. Not BBB accredited, rated F, with a BBB alert that the business is known or suspected to be out of business. The BBB notes its website was created through West Bengal, India, that it previously operated as Goldcoin Finance, and that it has not registered with the Florida Division of Corporations.
- Silverline Lending, Novi, Michigan. A mortgage lender, in business since November 2018, not BBB accredited and not rated because the BBB has insufficient information. It is regulated through the Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services. It does not fund merchant cash advances, and Business Debt Adjusters does not handle mortgage debt.
Silverline Services: what the court record shows
The clearest public description of how Silverline Services operates is a decision from the Supreme Court of New York, Kings County, dated March 15, 2024: Silverline Services, Inc. v PDC Construction, LLC, 2024 NY Slip Op 50304(U), Index No. 501227/2022. The court's summary of the complaint lays out the product in the company's own terms.
In the first agreement, Silverline paid $10,000 to purchase $14,970 of the merchant's future receivables, collected through daily ACH withdrawals from a single approved bank account, with the owner signing a personal guaranty. That is a factor of roughly 1.50: every dollar advanced was to be repaid with about fifty cents on top, regardless of how long repayment took. The second agreement had a stated purchase price of $41,234 for $61,809.77 of receivables, funded in weekly increments rather than as a lump sum. The court noted in a footnote that the alleged facts of that second agreement were internally inconsistent and that one could not determine the total value purchased or the price paid.
Silverline moved for summary judgment. The merchant did not oppose the motion. The court denied it anyway. Its reasons matter to anyone who receives papers from an MCA funder: the only sworn statements came from Silverline's lawyer, who had no personal knowledge of the transaction, and from its director of risk management, who did not say he signed or executed the agreements and did not submit any documentary proof of the amount Silverline actually provided. The merchant balance statements were submitted without explaining their source or meaning, so the court would not accept them as business records. In the court's words, Silverline failed to make a prima facie showing of entitlement to summary judgment on any of its claims.
Two cautions. First, a denied motion is not a dismissed case; the claims were still alive after this ruling. Second, a funder that lost one motion on paperwork can fix the paperwork next time. The decision is evidence that the documents must be examined, not evidence that the debt is unenforceable.
Silverline Financial in Florida: an F rating and an out-of-business alert
If your paperwork says Silverline Financial with a Tampa Oaks Boulevard address in Temple Terrace, Florida, the BBB profile is the document to read. The BBB opened the file on September 22, 2021, rates the business F, cites concerns with its practices and a failure to hold a required competency license, and flags it as known or suspected to be out of business. The BBB also records that the business has not registered with the Florida Department of State to do business in Florida and that its website was created through a registrar in West Bengal, India, under a prior name, Goldcoin Finance.
None of that tells you whether a specific agreement is valid. It does tell you to verify who actually holds any balance before you pay anyone, and to be careful with any collector claiming to act for this company.
Silverline Lending in Michigan is a mortgage lender, not a funder
A large share of the people searching for Silverline loans are looking for Silverline Lending in Novi, Michigan, which originates mortgages. It has been in business since November 15, 2018, is not BBB accredited, and is not rated because the BBB reports insufficient information. Its regulator is the Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services. If your question is about a home loan, that is where to take it. Business Debt Adjusters works on business debt, including merchant cash advances, and does not negotiate mortgages.
What to establish from your own paperwork
- The exact legal name and address. Services, Capital, Financial or Lending. The agreement, the ACH descriptor on your bank statement and any court caption should match.
- Purchase price versus purchased amount. In the Kings County case the ratio was about 1.50. Divide the amount you must repay by the amount you actually received to see your own factor.
- How the money arrived. A lump sum and weekly increments are different products with different math, as the court noted when it could not reconcile the second agreement.
- Which bank account is designated. The agreements in that case each required one approved account. Blocking withdrawals from it is what the funder pleads as the breach.
- Whether you signed a personal guaranty. In the court record the owner had. That is what lets a funder pursue you personally.
- The reconciliation clause. Whether the agreement allows the daily amount to be adjusted when revenue falls, and what you must do to request it.
If the payments are the problem
If daily ACH withdrawals to Silverline Services or a similarly named funder are squeezing your business, the order of operations is: confirm the entity, pull your agreement and your bank statements, calculate the true factor and the remaining balance, and then decide between negotiating a settlement, restructuring the payment schedule, or defending a lawsuit if one has been filed. The Kings County decision shows that even an unopposed motion can fail when the funder's paperwork is weak, which is leverage in a negotiation.
Business Debt Adjusters reviews the contract and the repayment situation and tells you what is realistic before you commit to anything. Frequently Asked Questions
Is Silverline a legitimate company?
There are at least four separate businesses using the name. Silverline Services, Inc. is a real merchant cash advance funder with a published New York court record. Silverline Capital LLC markets merchant cash advances on its own website. Silverline Financial in Florida is rated F by the BBB with an out-of-business alert. Silverline Lending in Michigan is a mortgage lender. Which one is legitimate for your purposes depends on which one is on your paperwork.
What is a Silverline loan?
Most searches for Silverline loans mean one of two things: a mortgage from Silverline Lending in Novi, Michigan, or a merchant cash advance from Silverline Services or Silverline Capital. A merchant cash advance is not a loan in the legal sense; it is a purchase of future receivables repaid by daily or weekly ACH withdrawals, usually with a personal guaranty.
What did the court decide in Silverline Services v PDC Construction?
On March 15, 2024, the Supreme Court of New York, Kings County denied Silverline Services' motion for summary judgment even though the merchant filed no opposition. The court found the lawyer's affirmation had no personal knowledge, the risk manager's affidavit did not prove the amount actually funded, and the balance statements were not admissible business records.
What factor rate did Silverline Services charge in that case?
The court's summary shows a $10,000 purchase price for $14,970 of receivables in the first agreement, a factor of about 1.50. The second agreement listed $41,234 for $61,809.77, also about 1.50, though the court said the pleaded facts for that agreement were internally inconsistent. Your own agreement governs your rate.
Does Silverline Financial in Florida still operate?
The BBB flags Silverline Financial of Temple Terrace, Florida as known or suspected to be out of business, rates it F, and notes it has not registered with the Florida Division of Corporations. Verify who holds any balance before paying anyone claiming to act for it.
Can Business Debt Adjusters help with a Silverline Lending mortgage?
